Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition

On July 31st, “Life” or the story of a life, the pyrotechnic show staged by Féérie at the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency during the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition was able to conjure up the emotions associated to each step of our life: joy, sorrow and anger. All of them were there.

Fragile and dependant, a life has just begun to bloom. In the softness of a nest made of love and tenderness, a small spirit begins his first trips in a mysterious world, in the place where the fairies really live…

And then comes the age of innocence, the happiness of childhood. First conflicts, confrontations and rebellions. Life is quickening on percussive and staccato rhythms.

The bells traditionally signal the important moments in our life: marriage, birth…Brisk and joyful , a bell rings out following a lively rhythm.And life goes on with its aspirations, its joys, its conflicts, its familial and professional struggles, its surprises.

The rhythms become contrasted, melancholic or full of joy, unusual or dazzling…

Success and glory come with maturity. The chorus reverberates while the hearts are beating.

With time comes the flowering of the soul, that is to say wisdom and self-mastery. Then, the Yin and the Yang come to crown our whole life in a blaze of glory.
